Oly: Carr applauds Knight s Games performance

New South Wales Premier BOB CARR has applauded the performance of his Olympics Minister
MICHAEL KNIGHT, saying he'd never been so positive about the staging of the Sydney Games.

Mr CARR, who's just returned from overseas, says he's extremely happy with Mr KNIGHT's
handling of the Olympics preparation.

Mr KNIGHT, who's also president of the Games organising committee, has come under fire
in recent months over a series of Olympics preparation bungles.
